Mohammed Adnan Jakati is a Master’s student at NYU’s Center for Cybersecurity.
Adnan has professional experience as a Security Engineer at Sony India and as a Software Engineer Intern at Alorb Technologies. During this time, he gained expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure software development. He has worked on notable projects, such as building early-stage threat detection systems using Honeypots and Splunk. Additionally, he created a covert data exfiltration toolkit to address advanced cybersecurity challenges.
Passionate about offensive security, reverse engineering, and penetration testing, Adnan aims to develop innovative solutions for modern cybersecurity threats.
He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from KLE Technological University. Currently, he is pursuing an M.S. in Cybersecurity at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, maintaining an excellent academic record.
