Academics

The Center for Cybersecurity is a university-wide hub for interdisciplinary academic work on cybersecurity. CCS faculty members teach courses across the university in all aspects of cybersecurity, complementing CCS’s broad, collaborative, research agenda. CCS fellows—advanced cybersecurity practitioners with deep expertise in the field—participate in both public discussions and academic workshops for students and faculty to bolster NYU’s role as a hub for cybersecurity.

The Center for Cybersecurity also offers the M.S. in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy, a one-year program sponsored jointly by NYU School of Law and NYU Tandon School of Engineering. The program confers a new category of degree—one built around the interdisciplinary training and perspectives needed to address a new type of cybersecurity threat.
