This discussion will center on the next big movements within the DM/Additive Manufacturing space, and what aspects of these emerging trends might be vulnerable to cyber attacks. The “next big things” discussed could include process developments and their cyber elements, methods for protecting intellectual property, or technologies that could be vulnerable to sabotage. We’ll pay particular attention to the recent rise in machine learning as a tool for both attackers and defenders.
