Yuchen “Dennis” Zhang will be joining the Secure System Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher later this year, working under the supervision of Dr. Justin Cappos. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He did his undergraduate work in computer science at Boston University, and completed a master’s at the Michtom School of Computer Science of Brandeis University. He is broadly interested in any type of fuzzing, static analysis, system security, and software security, with a current focus on unsafe code analysis and security in the Rust language. Yuchen has authored or coauthored five papers, including “Facilitating Parallel Fuzzing with Mutually-exclusive Task Distribution,” which won a best paper award at SecureComm 2021.
