Md Raz is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, working under the direction of Dr. Ramesh Karri. His research interests focus on developing trustworthy hardware at both the PCB and ASIC levels, with an emphasis on integrating emerging technologies like Field Programmable Gate Arrays, additive manufacturing, and machine learning and /artificial intelligence. Prior to beginning his Ph.D. studies, he completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in electrical engineering at Tandon in 2019 and 2023, respectively. Raz’s previous honors include the 2023 Myron M. Rosenthal Award for Best MS Academic Achievement in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the top prize in the 2019 NYU Tandon SOE Senior Capstone Competition.
