Hammond Pearce is a visiting scientist at NYU Tandon’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales-Sydney’s School of Computer Science and Engineering. His work currently focuses on cybersecurity within cyber-physical and embedded systems, and the implications of machine learning (ML) in this space. Pearce is a Ph.D. recipient in computer engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. In 2019 he took part in the NASA International Internship Programme and worked at NASA Ames in California. His other research interests include IoT, CPS, compilers, and AI / ML.
