Caleb Beckwith is a Ph.D, Candidate in Mechanical Engineering under the direction of Professor Nikhil Gupta. He received his bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2021 and has been interested in research into cybersecurity since 2020. Caleb’s primary focus is on digital manufacturing and cybersecurity. His research is in additive manufacturing and developing new workflows and countermeasures to mitigate the effects of cyber attacks. In 2024, he received a grant from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing to investigate the link between the vibrational and thermal properties in metamaterials, and various available nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques..
