Brendan Sweezy is a Ph.D. student in the ECE department at NYU Tandon. Under the guidance of his advisor, Assistant Professor Brandon Reagen, he is researching computer architectures for accelerating cryptography and privacy preserving computation. Sweezy’s current focus is on developing hardware for zero-knowledge proofs, and specifically making anonymous proving possible for edge users. A BS graduate in computer science at Duke University in Durham, NC, Sweezy remains a die-hard Duke basketball fan. In his spare time, he also enjoys singing with the NYU Chorale, playing guitar, reading about history, and running.
