Show Me the Truth: Countering Disinformation and Deepfakes with Digital Content Attribution

Digital information, true and false, is created and shared at a tremendous velocity. This challenges individuals, governments, businesses, and content providers to quickly evaluate the authenticity of massive amounts of information every day. This panel of experts on policy, technology and law, will address the growing problem of dis- and misinformation, and discuss solutions—including adopting content authenticity standards and provenance media technologies—to help increase transparency, understanding, and trust, while also protecting privacy concerns and freedom of expression.
