CSAW: Cybersecurity Games and Conference

The most comprehensive student-run cyber event in the world, CSAW challenges engage more than 3,000 students and professionals each year. Participants are tasked with solving problems identified in real-world practice, with competitions added as cybersecurity threats emerge in new areas, such as medical devices or the robots used in construction. In some cases, CSAW solutions are adapted and applied in practice.

After preliminary rounds in the early fall, competition finals are held in early November at five different global centers — Brooklyn, Mexico City, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Kanpur (India), and Valence (France). Some 100-plus teams gather to participate at both in-person and virtual finals.
