The School of Engineering has a distinguished history of research and education in the field of cybersecurity, and their classes are taught by internationally known experts. They are designated an NSA Center of Excellence in Information Assurance, a Center of Excellence in Research, and a Center of Excellence in Cyber Operations.
The MS in Cybersecurity is available in both face-to-face and online modalities. Students can also take the program full-time or part-time. NYU offers a special cohort model for the MS in Cybersecurity for part-time, online called the NYU Cyber Fellowship.
NYU Tandon School of Engineering offers two optional Cybersecurity Pathways within the MS in Cybersecurity program, allowing students to build depth in their chosen area of expertise.
Students may elect to specialize by taking specific courses in an area of concentration. Two tracks are available:
- Cyber Operations
- Cyber Defense
Students who wish to receive an acknowledgment that they have completed the Cybersecurity Program must successfully complete the Cybersecurity (MS) courses.
