Master of Science in Cybersecurity

Tandon School of Engineering offers an MS in Cybersecurity program curriculum rooted in the belief that theory and research must translate into real-world solutions. The School of Engineering has a distinguished history of research and education in the field of cybersecurity, and, and its classes are taught by internationally known experts.

The MS in Cybersecurity is available in both face-to-face and online modalities, with full-time and part-time options. NYU offers a special cohort model for the MS in Cybersecurity for part-time, online students called NYU Cyber Fellow.

National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity Designation Tracks

NYU Tandon School of Engineering is one of a few select institutions recognized by the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) with designations in Cyber Defense, Cyber Operations, and Cyber Research.

The Cybersecurity MS degree allows students the opportunity to plan their course selection, within the curriculum requirements, following either the Cyber Defense or Cyber Operations tracks outlined in the campus bulletin.
