Master of Science in Cybersecurity

Tandon School of Engineering offers an MS in Cybersecurity program curriculum rooted in the belief that theory and research must translate into real-world solutions. The School of Engineering has a distinguished history of research and education in the field of cybersecurity, and their classes are taught by internationally known experts. They are designated an NSA Center of Excellence in Information Assurance, a Center of Excellence in Research, and a Center of Excellence in Cyber Operations.

The MS in Cybersecurity is available in both face-to-face and online modalities. Students can also take the program full-time or part-time. NYU offers a special cohort model for the MS in Cybersecurity for part-time, online, US citizens called the NYU Cyber Fellowship. The NYU Cyber Fellowship, provides a 75% scholarship towards tuition for the online Cybersecurity Master’s Degree.

NYU has two optional Cybersecurity pathways within the MS in Cybersecurity: Cyber Defense and Cyber Offense.
